DCR’s overhauled 60029 working its first train in twelve years; the
first Class 70 over the Esk Valley route; 92006 working the final train
of cartics for GBRf; 31128 hauling a track renewal machine; 37218 solo
on the Tees Dock-Daventry Tesco Express; 66778 working a Ludgershall to
Dereham MoD train; 59002 light engine through Leeds; 70803 fronting the
first Aberdeen to Spalding calcium carbonate tanks; DB Class 66s ‘top &
tailing’ the weedkilling train in Devon; Pullman-liveried 67021 & 67024
hauling a rake of new Mendip Rail wagons from Dollands Moor to Wembley;
Freightliner’s 59206 and 90044 receive Genesee & Wyoming livery; DRS
blue 90034 re-enters traffic for DB Cargo; GBRf acquire three ‘Euro’
Class 66s from Sweden; Colas Rail’s former 37521 re-enters service with
LSL; convoys of Greater Anglia Class 90s transferring to
Freightliner...and 66731 is painted into NHS blue and named Captain Tom
Smith at Eastleigh.

farewell tour; ROG ‘Thunderbird’ locos rescuing failed new Greater
Anglia ‘Flirt’ units; DB Class 90s receive Grand Central livery;
Scotrail-liveried 47712 working its first charter train for LSL; 33012 &
33202 hauling the ‘Devonian Crompton’ charter; Maritime-liveried 66727
working the Inverness-Edinburgh Caledonian sleepers; 57313 hauling the
final pre-lockdown charter train; 87002 on a LSL driver training run to
Carlisle; DB’s 90039 and ex-LNER Mark 4 stock on a Grand Central driver
training run to Blackpool North; Chiltern’s 68010 & Trans Pennine’s
68022 double-heading the Toton-Crewe departmental... and LSL’s 86101,
87002, 90001 and 90002 all receive retro-Inter City swallow livery.
