Freightliner’s 70007 on hire to Colas for the Carlisle-Chirk timber;
37716 working solo on the 6K97 Toton-Crewe; large logo 37418 in charge
of the Bridgend-Dagenham Ford vans; 70801 hauling a rake of calcium
carbonate tanks to Aberdeen; DCR Class 56s on ballast trains to
Southampton and Boston; 50008 Thunderer hauling a monster rake of box
wagons from Wembley to Kellingley; 70809 working the very last Rectory
Junction tanks; 57308 rescuing GBRf’s Dagenham-Garston cars; Class 56s
briefly take over the haulage of the Dagenham-Bridgend Ford vans before
the traffic abruptly comes to an end; European Class 66s being towed
between Hull Docks and Longport; DB Cargo Class 66s receive Maritime and
PD Ports liveries; DRS’s 37419 receives retro Inter City colours;
Freightliner’s 66587 is repainted into pink and white Ocean Network
Express livery...and 92020 returns to traffic after an absence of 18
years!

Paddington; the return of Class 37-hauled Cardiff-Rhymney commuter
services; more loco-haulage on the Windermere branch; 55009 Alycidon on
its only railtour of the year; 50007 & 50049 travel to Tweedbank; 33012
& 33029 head round the Wirral with the ‘Ruby Vampire’ railtour; 31128
returns to the main line to work ‘The Sunday Yicker’ charter; GBRf-liveried
50007 & 50049 working the 25th anniversary ‘50 Terminator’ railtour;
47773 on the mothballed Ironbridge branch; 33207 hauling a steam
excursion on the East Grinstead branch; 47593 returns to the main
line...and 50007 hauling a rake of redundant GWR HST stock to Long
Marston!
