TRAFFIC & TRACTION:
56302 working fuel tanks to Fort William and Lairg; DCR’s 31452 hauling
a rake of redundant PNA wagons to Rotherham for scrapping; Colas’s 60047
working DB’s Lindsey-Kingsbury tanks; 56078 deputising for a Class 60 on
the Drax-Lindsey tanks; 37425 & 37606 on the Crewe-Bescot departmental;
60085 makes a rare Tug appearance at Huntley; 60091 rescues failed
classmate 60020 on the Robeston-Westerleigh tanks; a GBRf intermodal
service is rescued by two DRS Class 57s on an autumn ‘leaf buster’; DB
Class 66s rescue DCR’s failed 56104 at Denham Golf Club; GBRf purchases
three Colas Class 47s and ten DB Class 66s; Colas takes over the
Avonmouth to Aberthaw coal; four Class 90s on a Freightliner; 20007
